| Cafe Theatre Round Tower Players Caf Theatre May 2000 Lovers (Winners and Losers) by Brian Friel Lovers mirrorBooking opened on April 25th for Round Tower Players Caf Theatre productionof Brian Friel's Lovers directed by Carrie O'Brien.In Winners a young couple in love prepare for their final school exams. In Losers the lovers, while being older, are no less passionate. Lovers is a perennial favourite with audiences all over the world andsuggests with humour and warmth the frailty, fallibility and compromises oflove.Caf Theatre will be performed in Hotel Parc Belle-Vue (ex Convikt Centre)on May 4th, 5th and 6th starting with apritif at 19:00 and curtain at20:00. The Winners are Gavan Guilfoyle and Fiona Mulhern with narrators CliodhnaDempsey and John O'Sullivan. The Losers are Carrie 0'Brien, Hugh O'Neill, Niamh Huggard and Maria Kelly.A Four-course meal is served during the evening. Prices: Adults 1.250,- LUF, under 18s 900,- LUF. The price includes asusual the evening's entertainment, the dinner, and some wine. | Cafe Theatre <*dv_1*>Round Tower players Cafe Theatre Production 1997 <*dv_0*> Round Tower Players Cafe Theatre ran in 1997 from the 9th to the 11th of December (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at the Convict Centre, on the Av. Marie Therese in Luxembourg city. The evening followed the regular format of Two One act plays together with four-course dinner. The plays were "How he lied to her husband" by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Hugh O'Neill, and "In High Germany" by Dermot Bolger, directed by Kathlyn O'Brien. |
